Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our client to support office operations and ensure efficient handling of incoming mail and documentation. This hybrid administrative role is based in San Diego, CA and is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in managing scanning and deposit processes, organizing high volumes of mail, and assisting with special projects that keep daily operations running smoothly. Compensation:
$21/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (7:00 AM–6:00 PM with a flexible, mandatory lunch break; half-day on Fridays)
Key Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
• Process and organize large volumes of incoming mail by scanning, logging, and distributing materials to remote team members.
• Complete daily desktop deposits, prepare outgoing packets, and ensure accurate handling of confidential information.
• Maintain digital and physical filing systems to support efficient recordkeeping and information retrieval.
• Assist with various administrative projects and tasks as assigned by management to support team operations.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications and Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication and tracking tasks.
• Comfort working with copiers, scanners, and other standard office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing repetitive or high-volume tasks.
• Reliable, communicative, and able to take direction effectively within a small team environment.
