POSITION SUMMARY: 

This is a local Nashville, onsite position ( NOT eligible for remote or hybrid office options). 

The Junior Precon Estimator will assist in sourcing quotes/prices from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers and help the Senior Precon Manager develop budgets for upcoming/ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will also help coordinate subcontractor agreements, scopes, and assist with Value Engineering cost options for negotiated bid projects. 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Assist in the bid / budget process including pricing, bid solicitation, subcontractor scope coordination and final bid assembly.
• Assist in the efforts to Estimate Commercial Construction projects to successful bid completion.
• Coordinate efforts with Operations and other estimators to help deliver final products to our clients.

COMPANY PROFILE:

• A General Contractor that has been providing architectural, engineering, construction management, general contracting and start-up services.
• Operates throughout Mid-Tenn area and does NOT work out of state. 
• Our Client works with companies that include Fortune 500 companies, multinational companies and other private clients building Commercial & Industrial Projects.
• The majority of their projects will revolve around High-End Restaurant & retail, commercial office & hospitality mixed-use type structures with ground-up and build-out construction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2+ years of Estimating experience within remodel or new-construction commercial developments
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Some knowledge of the estimating process via the Estimating/Preconstruction role. 
• Familiar with scopes, take-offs or quantitative lump sum bid/estimating process to some degree
• Skilled in Estimating programs and have ability to master other software systems
