Job Description

Our client is a full service staffing and recruiting firm with nationwide service capabilities that specializes in light/skilled industrial, engineering, and operations professionals. They are dedicated to understanding the unique skills that companies require. They are family oriented and the company has that feel as well. The Business Developer will be generating new business while growing existing accounts and reaching out to past customers for two branches located in Sacramento and the Hayward area. Will be largely remote with the ability to drop into each branch one time per week.

Responsibilities:

  • New business development through cold calling, canvassing, prospecting and knocking on doors generating contingent and direct hire business within light industrial, professional, office/admin and engineering verticals.
  • Identify, research and qualify prospective customers
  • Regain past customers though robust client base. Identify pain points and develop solutions
  • Present solutions, negotiation of contracts and close/secure new service contracts
  • Will have flexibility to sell all lines of business, e.g. light industrial, professional, office/admin and engineering securing contract-hire and direct hire positions
  • Up-selling and mushrooming existing accounts
  • Build relationships with multi-site locations to secure additional sites locally or multi-state
  • Collaborate with recruitment team, remove obstacles, take skilled talent to market
  • Ability to ask questions to identify prospect pain points, develop solutions and gain detailed information to provide recruiting team
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure attractive pay rates and profitability

Qualifications :

  • 2-5 years staffing industry experience
  • Demonstrated success securing new business within the staffing industries, preferably within multiple verticals
  • Experience and success calling on and securing all size of accounts including large onsite and VMS business
  • Consultative sales approach selling on service
