Job Description:
Copy-edits content for platforms within an internet-based program. Identifies and applies established style guide to non-conforming submissions. Native-level English fluency is required, and regional language fluency may be required. The Editor must be proficient in the nuances of required languages including grammar and journalism editing standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Tasks may include verifying translations, making recommendations to customer regarding disposition of reader comments, researching news content to ensure conformance to program guidelines regarding sourcing, libel, and plagiarism, monitoring the regional press, and finding instances of content propagation,
Providing analysis on the reprinting source, and executing technical tasks utilizing locally developed tools associated with internet-based publications.
Tasks may include filling in for the Assignment Editor, responsible for building and maintaining the correspondent network and coordinating the article submission process and communication with the project network.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree is required in English, Journalism, or a program related discipline; significant experience may be accepted in lieu
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience
CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain DoD SECRET clearance. (Secret Clearance or higher is preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience in writing, editing and/or journalism is highly preferred.
