The Director, Information Technology, is responsible for leading the IT strategy for all Click Bond. This position manages the IT budget, resources, and functions, which are responsible for providing Click Bond a portfolio of technology platforms and tools to organize, evaluate, and efficiently manage the activities required to effectively operate across all departments. This role ensures there is alignment between IT departments and all other functions within Click Bond, fostering a partnership to maximize and leverage the benefits of technology investments. This position will also focus extensively on digital transformation efforts in the manufacturing plant floor well as commercial activity.

This position has been identified as a key position with specific responsibilities, input, support and alignment with Click Bond’s Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS). The QEMS is the overall framework for the company’s policies and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the IT annual budget creation and oversight.
  • Lead IT teams to streamline business processes and implement technology to maximize impact and align to strategic company goals across all areas of the company.
  • Ensure appropriate level of security and implement educational security aspects in the learning management system for active and new employees.
  • Strategically coordinate security aspects to ensure compliance with customer contracts, government contracts and other appropriate organizations and/ or associations.
  • Strategically collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations on Mfg. 4.0/ automation efforts.
  • Provide proactive coaching for individual and team development.
  • Collaborate and partner with multiple departments and functions.
  • Oversee systems release management processes programs.
  • Manage the Director, IT Infrastructure and Technology, maintain oversight of the respective accountabilities for infrastructure and cyber security.
  • Manage the supervisor of service desk and maintain oversight of the respective accountabilities for desktop support.
  • Manage application development personnel, systems, and initiatives.
  • Manage business intelligence personnel, systems, and initiatives.
  • Support and maintain all enterprise systems, including but not limited to: ERP, PLM, CRM, Productivity Suites, Document Management, SCADA, and cloud solutions.
  • Review and provide guidance to ensure effective deployment of end-user training and training materials
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and research technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Proficient in standard programming paradigms and scripting.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, relational database CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing techniques.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into digestible visual presentations and dashboards.
  • Ability to write and read English.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (master’s degree a plus).
  • 8+ years’ experience in related field.
  • Proven experience successfully leading teams.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional certifications in SQL and/or other business intelligence or programming languages preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the MIS and IT teams providing direction and support to remove barriers and achieve established goals.
