Email Marketing Manager (Full-Time, Remote)

About the Role
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing email marketing strategies that nurture customer relationships, increase retention, and optimize engagement. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful email campaigns, leveraging data and creativity to enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy to drive customer engagement and retention.
Audit existing customer journeys and nurture streams, providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns, including automated workflows, newsletters, and promotional emails.
Partner with product marketing teams to identify key customer touchpoints and leverage email to influence behavior.
Design and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.
Analyze campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with content and design teams to craft compelling email copy and visuals that align with the brand's voice.
Maintain and manage an email marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, promotions, and business goals.
Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices to keep our email marketing competitive.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a CRM or customer journey-focused marketing role.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (such as ActiveCampaign) and CRM systems.
Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and analytics tools.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
Experience with audience segmentation and personalization strategies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Position Details
Type: 1099 contract-to-hire
Location: Fully remote
Salary Range: $8,000 - $10,000/month
