Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM (Variable schedule; may include nights, weekends, and additional hours as needed)
Work Environment: Office and Manufacturing
Dress Code: Business Professional
Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator will support the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. This role is critical in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across both office and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS programs and policies.
+ Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
+ Support incident investigations and root cause analysis; track corrective actions to closure.
+ Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, and compliance documentation.
+ Coordinate and deliver EHS training sessions for employees.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
+ Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
+ Stay current with EHS regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
+ Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA regulations.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a large EHS team (8+ members).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
