Description  

• Candidates local to Harrisburg, PA are preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support via phone to end users for hardware, software, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software/hardware issues or escalate appropriately.
• Create and escalate Remedy tickets to Tier 2 or external providers as needed.
• Reset and restore mainframe, LAN, and User IDs/passwords via RACF or Active Directory.
• Use diagnostic tools and listen actively to guide users through issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation and update reference materials as needed.
• Coordinate service dispatch and follow-up for repairs.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with attention to quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of IT Service Desk or Call Center experience.
• Experience with call tracking and ticketing software (e.g., Remedy).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented and resourceful; able to follow documentation and processes.
• Comfortable supporting users with limited technical knowledge.
• Basic Active Directory user and group administration.
• Experience with Windows 7, Office 365, and troubleshooting within network environments.
• Strong organizational and customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated, team player with reliability and accountability.
