Overview:

The Medical Assistant maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.

Essential Functions

• Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
• Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.

License/Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $15.8per hour - $25.6per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
