Location: Decatur, Illinois, United States,

Responsibilities:

- Providing patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting.
- Assisting with procedures such as abdominal hysterectomies, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries.
- Performing basic patient care tasks in the Pediatrics unit (e.g., providing water, taking vital signs).
- Responding to on-call requests (4 shifts in a six-week period).
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an OB Tech (First-timers accepted).
- BLS certification.
- Labor & Delivery experience.
- Ability to work every third weekend.
- Must be in IL 3 business days prior to compliance HDD for fingerprinting.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- ACLS certification.
- Community Hospital experience.
- First Assist experience.
- Gynecology case skills/experience.

Special Considerations:

- On-call responsibilities (4 shifts in a six-week period).
- Floating to Pediatrics unit to provide basic patient care.
- Weekend work required (every third weekend).
- Guaranteed hours with a clause for client call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment.
- Schedule requests should be discussed with the manager.
- Must be in IL 3 business days before compliance HDD for fingerprinting.

Scheduling:

- 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (1800-0630).
- Every third weekend required.
- On-call responsibilities (4 shifts in a six-week period).
- Schedule requests should be discussed with the manager.
