The position was mainly established for the purpose of supporting the PMO team to drive a project forward, manage stakeholder engagement and ensure that the project stays within budget and is completed on time. Τhe successful candidate will assist Project Managers to handle the "project life cycle". In more details they will be part of the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and commissioning of a project. They will work closely with project teams and subcontractors to ensure that all goals are met. The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate and distribute all necessary information to internal and external project parties in order to secure that everything runs smoothly throughout all project phases.
Assist in defining and communicating project scope and objectives;
Support the Project Manager in monitoring the budget based on scope of work and resource requirements;
Help develop and oversee the project schedule, work plan and relevant management plans and processes in coordination with the Project Manager;
Contribute to defining project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder alignment;
Support the on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery of projects by coordinating efforts with the Project Manager;
Collaborate with relevant departments to assess resource needs and optimize resource allocation efficiently;
Assist in ensuring resource availability and proper allocation throughout the project lifecycle;
Maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and support contract management;
Help manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by tracking task assignments and deliverables;
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless project execution;
Track and report project costs to support budget adherence;
Assist in managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques;
Provide project updates to management and escalate issues as needed;
Assist in managing client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement;
Support performance tracking to identify areas for improvement and process optimization;
Assist in risk management strategies to minimize project risks;
Help maintain and update comprehensive project documentation;
Promote and enforce strict safety regulations for all project teams;
Travel as required for client and subcontractor meetings globally;
Conduct site visits to onshore and offshore project areas;
Be available for potential on-site stays at project locations (onshore/offshore) during execution.
Experience
0-3 years of project management experience in construction sector;
Other working experience in similar positions;
