Job Description
Job Summary:*
We are looking for a detail-oriented SAP FI Consultant with 10+ years of experience, specializing in tax configuration and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) processes and a deep understanding of indirect taxation (GST, VAT, TDS, etc.), statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance in India and/or global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
Design and implement tax procedures in SAP including GST, VAT, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations through accurate configuration and reporting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and auditors to ensure tax-related processes meet legal and business requirements.
Support integration with SD and MM modules for tax-relevant transactions.
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments related to tax and compliance.
Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support go-live activities.
Provide training and documentation to end users on tax processes and compliance reporting.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure SAP systems are aligned accordingly.
