Job Description

ATSS has a client in Pascagoula, MS looking for Structural Welders.

Pay: $28.50

General Function:

• Primary Responsibility: Welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities:

• Material Knowledge: Utilizes knowledge of the working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, including the specifications of the equipment to be used in the welding process.
• Tank Testing: Performs tank testing and associated duties as required.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Welding Proficiency: Ability to pass a first class welding test in the overhead and vertical positions, based on the certifications being sought.

Desirable Experience & Training:

• Experience/Training: 3-5 years Prior experience as a welder is acceptable.
