Job Description

At Blue Collars Plumbing & HVAC, we take pride in delivering high-quality service with precision, professionalism, and efficiency. As we grow, we're looking to bring on a Warehouse Manager who will play a critical role in organizing and streamlining the backbone of our operations — our warehouse.

Position Overview: We're seeking a highly organized, proactive, and innovative Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations. This person will be instrumental in setting up systems and processes to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable day-to-day operations. The Warehouse Manager will collaborate closely with our technicians, dispatch team, vendors, and leadership to keep everything moving with precision and purpose.

We're looking for a go-getter with a team-oriented mindset and a positive, can-do attitude — someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, bring creative ideas to the table, and continuously look for ways to improve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement warehouse systems and processes to support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
  • Manage fleet maintenance and repairs, equipment maintenance and repairs, and maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
  • Occasionally run equipment and materials to job sites and assist on-site as needed.
  • Work closely with technicians to track down parts during emergencies, requiring strong relationships with vendors.
  • Update and manage vendor information in our systems, oversee purchasing, and handle purchasing reporting.
  • Ensure all purchases are tracked, uploaded into our system, and monitored consistently.
  • Collaborate with office staff to quickly identify and address any discrepancies related to purchasing and inventory.
  • Utilize platforms like ServiceTitan to track inventory, manage job preparation, and support field teams.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and coordinate material orders, pickups, and deliveries.
  • Collaborate daily with dispatchers and technicians to ensure the warehouse supports real-time field needs.
  • Organize and label materials using a color-coded, aesthetically clean system that is both functional and visually efficient.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking proactively to avoid job delays.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to track performance and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
  • Introduce and implement innovative and creative ideas to enhance workflow, layout, and organization.
  • Encourage teamwork, accountability, and consistent communication across departments.
  • Ensure shop cleanliness, maintaining a pleasant, clean area that can quickly transition into a training facility or event space for clients as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing fleet and equipment maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceTitan or similar field service platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma practices (certification is a plus).
  • An eye for detail and a love for creating well-organized, visually appealing spaces.
  • A self-starter mentality — always looking for what can be improved and taking initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate effectively.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a true team player mindset.

Why Join Blue Collars?

  • Be part of a growing company where your voice, ideas, and impact truly matter.
  • Work with a leadership team that values innovation, collaboration, and employee development.
  • Competitive pay and full benefits package.
  • Opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
  • A supportive, team-driven environment where high standards and great energy go hand-in-hand.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Competitive Pay & Bonuses: We believe in rewarding your hard work.
  • Wellness Perks: Free health insurance and gym memberships to keep you feeling your best.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to recharge.
  • Career Growth Opportunities: Grow alongside us as we expand.
