Warehouse Manager

Full-Time

Madison Heights, MI

Compensation DOE: up to $80K

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager for the Madison Heights, MI location. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards. Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of associates within the warehouse to ensure the company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.

The warehouse manager is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This includes a full understanding of internal warehouse processes, the impact on other departments in the organization and building efficiencies to positively affect the company. The position requires flexibility in a changing environment, leadership by example, and a willingness to learn. They are expected to function as a team member within the department and organization as required.

Warehouse Manager Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of associates within the warehouse to ensure the company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Supervise outbound inventory, including picking and shipping customer orders.
• Ensure all orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Train, supervise and develop warehouse associates.
• Manage associates time and priorities based on fluctuations in different workloads.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Investigate and report accidents or incidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions in compliance with internal procedures.

Warehouse Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or an associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of applicable experience in a warehouse setting.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to lead by example with the ability manages issues and conflicts and be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional resiliency to navigate changing expectations to meet shifting business needs.
