Will Consider Staff Services Analyst

Under the direction of the District Project Control Manager, a Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent serves as a Project Control Officer (PCO). The incumbent assists the Project Control Manager in handling the districts Expenditure Authorizations (EA) as they relate to Project Identifiers (PI). Reviews and monitors the districts EAs by establishing and modifying PI information and PI phase budgets in CGI Advantage System(CGI). Administers all district program EA's capital and support budgets including the Major Maintenance, State Highway Operation and Protection Program (SHOPP), and Minor B programs. The Incumbent also serves as the Cooperative Agreements and Reimbursed Programs Coordinator. Receives direction from the District Project Control Manager on the most critical issues; however, acts independently on routine and complex matters. Working Conditions

Position located at 4050 Taylor Street, San Diego, CA 92110, San Diego County.

Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.

This position has been identified as office-centered. Remote-centered equates to 50% or more of time is telework. Office-centered equates to 50% or more of time is in office/field location.

New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

  5. Describe a time when you had to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. How did you ensure accuracy and minimize errors while simultaneously staying on track? Include examples of organization tools and methods you incorporated.
